Triangle 2010 Registration Information

For registration information contact:

Tammy Shiells at shiells@shaw.ca or 478-8981

TO REGISTER ONLINE CLICK THE LINK BELOW

Triangle Athletic Association will begin accepting online registrations February 1st, 2010. Due to a significant cut to our Government Gaming grants, 2010 player registation costs will be increased to cover the costs of field rentals.

Triangle will continue with online registration and fee payment by credit card over the Internet at no extra cost. This service is available through Active.com a division of The Active Network Ltd. Online registration is now the preferred method of registration for the Triangle Athletic Association, as it is a fast and convenient way for you to register your children for baseball.

The Triangle Athletic Association is thrilled to offer this service for the fourth straight year, and we hope that our members will register online. Each online registration ensures an accurate record of your child's registration while saving our volunteer Board countless hours of manpower. The Triangle Athletic Association online registration is powered by Active.com, they have rigorous safety measures in place, and are the trusted online registration provider for numerous national organizations and over 25,000 leagues, events, and camps.

NOTICE - Triangle Athletic Association is not offering a Softball/Fastball program for the 2010 Season. We are referring anyone who has registered their child at Triangle in the past to please register at View Royal http://viewroyalfastball.ca

The Triangle Athletic Association is looking for volunteers to join our Executive

Coaches, Parents and Volunteers Needed

The Triangle Athletic Association is continually looking for dedicated volunteers to help with the organization and operation of our Association. By being elected to, or volunteering for, a position on the Executive, you can show your willingness to be involved in the Softball or Baseball programs beyond the role of supportive parent.

There are many positions that need to be filled to make our Association successful and some that only require a few hours of your time each month. Others, such as coaches of various Levels, are more of a seasonal commitment. All of the volunteers that help this organization run do so because they realize that it takes people willing to help to make the Triangle Athletic Association the successful organization that it is.

If you are interested, please contact us at triangleathletic@telus.net

Victoria Seals Host Families
Host Families Needed

When players decide to continue their baseball career in independent baseball, many travel from across North and South America to play in the Golden Baseball League. This means that they are hours away from friends and family members. For this reason, when they arrive in Victoria, they look for a touch of home to make them feel welcome.

If you would like more information on serving as a host family, please contact Roxann Bury @ 250- 480- HITS (4487) or email to roxann@victoriaseals.ca

President's Message:

Welcome to another season at Triangle Athletic Association. The 2010 season promises to be competitive, exciting and fun. Our focus is to foster an environment where new players can learn the game, and returning players can improve their skills.

We fully support both baseball and softball and our goal is to grow and improve our league through innovative registration, co-ordination with other parks, player clinics, coaches clinics, and by putting an exciting product on the field where kids will learn and enjoy the game.

Running the Association requires many volunteers beyond the named executive. Please step up to the plate when asked to assist the league. This could be as simple as raking a field or putting away bases to helping coach a team. Every little bit helps. Thanks to our volunteers!

Thanks to our sponsors - your support is appreciated and you are helping our youth develop skills that will be used throughout life.

- John Turcotte - President
